PLICSMOBILE - Setup and adjustment

PLICSMOBILE can be inserted into the double-chamber housings of the plics®plus series or connected separately to any plics®plus sensor. It has an integrated energy management system at its disposal and operates in an autonomous standby mode. Data transmissions are time or event driven, depending on the settings.
PLICSMOBILE is adjusted via a PC equipped with PACTware and appropriate DTM. This allows complete access to sensors with HART, Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus interface from remote locations.
Setup options
Adjustment is carried out via PACTware/DTM and the integrated USB socket on PLICSMOBILE. Battery or accumulator as well as USB socket are integrated in the instrument.
Thanks to the high protection rating of IP 67 or IP 68, the instrument can be mounted directly at the measuring site, even in harsh environments.
Remote radio transmission
PLICSMOBILE uses the public mobile phone network. The patch antenna integrated in plastic housings or the rod antenna, mounted externally for radio performance optimisation, guarantee reliable transmission of measured values. The system, based on quadband technology, is compatible with almost all frequencies and can be used worldwide. Moreover, the use of the GSM and GPRS standards allows simple connection to the Internet and thus also to the visualisation software WEB-VV.
Setup, parameterisation and configuration of sensor and PLICSMOBILE
Setup and commissioning of PLICSMOBILE is carried out via DTM and PACTware. For this, the radio unit has an integrated USB interface for direct, on-site connection to a laptop computer. To save servicing and travel time, however, diagnosis and servicing of the system can also be carried out wirelessly from any location in the world.
